The Concord Bridge is a valuable new source to the Concord community, yet I find myself not looking forward to the weekly publication as much as I did initially. The opinion page has been especially difficult to read. It is clear that folks have strong opinions. While I welcome hearing and reading different ideas and perspectives, I find myself disappointed. Tones of derision enmeshed with strong opinions create a troubled dialogue in a democratic town forum. It is in the strength of kindness, space for grace, and compassion that ideas can spring into lasting change.
Thank you,
