“Sounds of the Sea,” an art exhibit by Chelmsford’s Trina Teele, is the perfect prelude to summer, taking place now through June 5 at Newbury Court in Concord.
The exhibit of Teele’s realist oil paintings, inspired by childhood summers in Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Long Island, is open to the public, as is the Artist Reception on May 21 from 3-5 p.m.
“Mostly I focus on the solitude and stillness of those calm and serene places, but sometimes I’ll paint the collaborative excitement and momentum of wind-filled sails,” Teele said.
The artist is represented by NOA Gallery in Groton, and her work has previously been featured in numerous juried shows and venues, including the Whistler Museum of Art and the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. She also has held solo exhibitions in Westford, Chelmsford and Newburyport.View Trina Teele’s work at www.noagallery.com
