11:59 a.m. A man on Nathan Pratt Drive reported that someone made two fraudulent unemployment claims, one in his name and one in his wife’s name.
12:17 p.m. A truck backed into a trash gate near the Exxon station on the Concord Turnpike.
12:41 p.m. A caller reported losing a dark gray cardiac monitor about the size of an iPhone at Great Meadow and is looking for it.
1:21 p.m. Two vehicles were towed after an accident at Powder Mill and Sudbury roads.
1:39 p.m. A disabled van on Route 2 east at Sudbury Road was towed.
3:24 p.m. A caller could not find her car that she parked in a lot at the Umbrella Arts Center. A good Samaritan helped her find it.
3:26 p.m. A black sedan fled the scene of a minor motor vehicle crash on Main Street. It was not found.
4:52 p.m. A resident of Monument Street reported a Lexus was blocking their access road. The resident called back to say the driver said they had permission from a detail to park there.
5:04 p.m. A driver called to say his broken down vehicle at Main and Thoreau streets was causing a traffic issue. It was towed and the driver would be picked up by his wife at Dunkin’.
5:23 p.m. Car 6 removed a broken tree limb sticking out onto Lowell Road by Liberty Street.
7:46 p.m. A resident of Monument Street reported a spaniel-type dog with black and white spots was running around. The dog’s owner called to report it was missing and was told of the dog’s last known location. The owner found the dog and brought him back home.
8:18 p.m. Car 8 stood by for traffic control while a driver changed a flat tire on Route 2 at Walden Street.
Saturday, April 22
12:16 a.m. The driver of a vehicle stopped on Concord Turnpike was resting and moved along. No issues.
12:19 a.m. The driver of another vehicle stopped on Concord Turnpike was resting and moved along. No issues.
1:43 a.m. Police checked on a vehicle on Commonwealth Avenue. They were using the ATM. No issues.
1:51 a.m. One vehicle parked in the Nano’s Auto lot had its lights on. Appeared to be neglect.
2:00 a.m. Two people were transported to Residence Inn after a motor-vehicle stop on Route 2 west near the rotary. The vehicle was towed and the operator was summonsed.
5:32 a.m. After waiting two hours for AAA to show up for a disabled vehicle in the MCI lot on Commonwealth Avenue, the driver called the police who waited with them for AAA. No issue.
11:14 a.m. A minor motor-vehicle accident on Main Street resulted in no injuries and a paper exchange.
2:29 p.m. A found phone and wallet was left at the station and returned to a resident.
2:56 p.m. A resident on Laurel Street reported a parked car on their lawn. The vehicle owner was located and moved the vehicle.
Sunday, April 23
12:57 a.m. A resident of Bradford Street reported a noise complaint. Ongoing issue.
9:59 a.m. A welfare check on a vehicle parked on Elm Street at the Temple was a Papa Razzi employee resting before a shift.
3:22 p.m. A pedestrian at Main and West streets flagged down a car saying a transformer had blown. The police checked the area with negative findings.
3:43 p.m. At the request of the state police, officers assisted with unlocking a prison van in the front lot on Elm Street.
6:44 p.m. A male wearing all black and reported to be loitering inside the Bank of America on Commonwealth Avenue said he was working on getting a ride to Lowell. Police transported him to the Mobile station in Acton to await a ride from a friend.
8:33 p.m. Unfenced goats were in the yard on Fitchburg Turnpike. The owners of the goats were found and no assistance needed.
10:55 p.m. A resident on Border Road reported a car alarm sounding for five minutes. Police heard no audible alarm.
Monday, April 24
1:19 a.m. A motor vehicle stopped at Route 2 and ORNAC was towed.
10:18 a.m. The president of Green Thumb at Main Street and Commonwealth Avenue asked to speak with an officer about plates being possibly taken from Junction Park over the weekend.
11:07 a.m. A resident reported a coyote in the area of Mattison Field and said there was a den nearby. Animal control notified.
12:37 p.m. A caller reported a possibly lost chocolate Labrador wandering around Emerson Field. Animal control notified.
1:37 p.m. A resident turned in antique ammunition for safe keeping.
3:21 p.m. A resident reported losing a clutch pocketbook on April 23. Her ID showed a Nantucket address.
3:37 p.m. A mailbox on Riverdale Road was hit when a vehicle backed into it on Thursday, causing minor damage.
3:38 p.m. A minor motor-vehicle crash on Old Bedford Road by Scimone Farm was called in by both parties and resulted in a paper exchange.
7:34 p.m. A yellow hacksaw reported to be in the roadway by the drive-through ATM at the Cambridge Savings Bank on Sudbury Road was not found.
11:12 p.m. For safekeeping, police took the keys of a vehicle parked on Thoreau Street with the trunk open. The operator called the police to say it will be towed. Officers turned the keys over to the tow driver.
Tuesday, April 25
8:05 a.m. A resident of Musketaquid Road reported, twice, that an orange kayak was floating on the river. Police did not find it and no one was at the South Bridge Boat House.
9:18 a.m. A cat on Old Bedford Road went missing. Animal control notified.
11:25 a.m. A resident of Musterfield Road walked in and reported a check fraud.
12:14 p.m. Animal control notified after the owner of Walden Street Antiques reported a few birds had flown into the building and they couldn’t get them out.
1:59 p.m. A vehicle was towed and the operator summonsed and transported to the West Concord train station after a traffic stop at Main and Damon streets.
3:04 p.m. A work truck parked in front of a no parking sign at Orchard House on Lexington Road was reported to be a danger for vehicles trying to exit the street. Staff at Orchard House will advise contractors to remove the vehicle.
3:14 p.m. A vehicle parked on Strawberry Hill Road was reported stolen to the Acton police. It appeared the operator left with the wrong motor vehicle. Acton police to transport the owner.
4:24 p.m. A two-party motor-vehicle crash near the rotary Gulf and Commonwealth Avenue was handled by state police.
5:48 p.m. A disabled motor vehicle at Sudbury and Powder Mill roads, with a tow on the way, presented no hazard.
Wednesday, April 26
6:25 a.m. A door stopper propping a door open at Concord Commons on Conant Street caused an alarm to go off.
8:27 a.m. Police assisted an employee at MCI-Concord in a parking lot off Commonwealth Avenue who was locked out of the vehicle.
11:28 a.m. A vehicle was struck in the parking lot of Baker Avenue Extension. The other vehicle left the area.
8:23 p.m. A caller from Laws Brooks Road reported getting harassing texts.
9:14 p.m. Police located a red minivan that reportedly knocked down a street sign at Old Marlboro and Upland roads. The operator was cited.
Thursday, April 27
2:21 a.m. A Honda Pilot was towed and the operator transported to Walden Street after a motor-vehicle stop on Union Turnpike.
7:13 a.m. A passerby reported landscapers in the roadway near Millbrook Farm on Cambridge Turnpike could get hit. Police found that cones were set up and the road was passable.
7:27 a.m. Animal control will call a resident of Simon Willard Road who reported that a raccoon with a bleeding leg was in her backyard.
8:38 a.m. A second call came in reporting landscapers in the roadway near Millbrook Farm on Cambridge Turnpike. They were finishing up work.
9:16 a.m. Animal control will contact a resident of Indian Hill Road who wanted to know what to do about a fox and its babies.
9:19 a.m. An officer stood by on Elm Street while Concord Municipal Light Plant removed a tree resting on wires.
9:42 a.m. A Derby Street resident reported identity theft involving a fraudulently opened account at Bank of America.
10:27 a.m. A white male was reported to have shoplifted items from the Exxon gas station on Concord Turnpike. An employee said he confronted the subject, took his money and locked himself inside the store. The subject banged on the doors and windows. All property was returned and the alleged shoplifter was trespassed.
10:50 a.m. A loose, medium-sized, black dog roaming the area of Wedgewood Common was referred to the animal control officer.
11:25 p.m. A motorcycle crashed into a guardrail in the vicinity of Baker Avenue Extension. The operator was on his feet and the bike was towed.
11:54 p.m. A landscaping crew blocking half a travel lane on Old Marlboro Road and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner finished unloading shrubs. No issue.
1:33 p.m. Police assisted a female locked out of her vehicle on Main Street.
2:52 p.m. A minor two-vehicle crash at Sudbury Road and Main Street resulted in a paper exchange.
4:45 p.m. A tan SUV was sideways in the roadway at Main Street and Harrington Avenue after a crash. The vehicle was towed and a Main Street lawn was damaged.
6:08 p.m. Ambulances took parties to two hospitals following a two-car crash on Route 2 west and Elm Street. Both vehicles were removed.
