11:29 a.m. Assisted with traffic on Old Marlboro Road while Concord Municipal Light Plant reconnected house service.
11:40 a.m. A car was struck last month in the Crosby Market parking lot. The driver attempted to report it a week before but the report could not be completed because the vehicle was in the shop.
12:10 p.m. A vehicle belonging to a guest at the Colonial Inn blocked the bus parking spot in front of Monument Hall. Staff advised to move the vehicle.
2:53 p.m. A Main Street resident asked to speak with police about unemployment fraud.
4:25 p.m. A trailer reported to be parked at Nathan Pratt Drive for several nights was not in the area.
4:25 p.m. A caller reported she was in a minor motor-vehicle crash in front of CVS on Sudbury Road.
4:52 p.m. A Subaru partially blocking a driveway of a residence on Main Street was issued a parking citation.
5:01 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle driving erratically on Monument Street. Carlisle police were notified.
5:39 p.m. A heavily damaged vehicle reported parked on College Road partially in the roadway since 8 a.m. was photographed and found not to be blocking the road. The vehicle was gone later.
7:04 p.m. A deer was struck in the area of ORNAC on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and could not be found.
8:02 p.m. An unoccupied vehicle in a lot behind Thoreau Street was struck while parked.
Friday, May 5
6:45 a.m. A motor-vehicle crash at Elm Street and Union Turnpike resulted in a paper exchange and a citation for failure to use care in stopping.
8:45 a.m. A caller from Bartlett Hill Road asked to speak with animal control about a baby bird on the property.
9:03 a.m. A traffic cone was removed from the roadway at Sudbury Road and Old Road to Nine Corners at ORNAC.
9:39 a.m. A landscaping vehicle at Elm Street and Crescent Road was found to be parked safely.
10:26 a.m. A passerby reported two males were taking photos of the Bank of America ATM on Commonwealth Avenue and then fled at a high rate of speed. Police checked surrounding roads and notified Bank of America security.
2:12 p.m. A Walden Street person asked to speak with an officer about possible identity theft.
2:37 p.m. A resident of Barretts Mill Road asked to speak to an officer about a fraudulent credit card opened in her name. No money was passed along. It was attempted fraud only.
3:55 p.m. A resident of Nathan Pratt Drive reported a package was stolen from the mailroom on May 3.
5:05 p.m. A motorist reported an erratic driver on Sudbury Road near Seven Star Lane. Sudbury Police Department was notified.
5:40 p.m. A raccoon was in a garage on Range Road. Animal control notified.
5:52 p.m. DPW was called to respond to baby ducks that had fallen down a storm drain in the area of Anson Road after animal control was unable to retrieve the ducklings.
10:12 p.m. While investigating a report of a vehicle struck by something while driving on Lowell Road near Concord Oil, a cruiser was hit by an egg. Police checked the wooded area with a night vision monocular and could not find anyone.
Saturday, May 6
10:06 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was parked in front of Concord Academy on Main Street overnight.
11:13 a.m. Police assisted with a funeral procession coming from Acton on Route 2 to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
12:24 p.m. A resident reported a garage on Concord Turnpike had been broken into. Police confirmed the damage and will follow up with Ring camera footage.
3:08 p.m. A Great Pyrenees escaped from her yard on Whittemore Street. Animal control was advised.
5:03 p.m. A disabled vehicle at Water and Main streets arranged for a private tow and was not a traffic hazard.
9:09 p.m. Homeowners having a loud house party with a live band in the area of Bedford Street and Great Meadows Road said they will be shutting down.
Sunday, May 7
12:17 a.m. A vehicle parked in a lot on Commonwealth Avenue had run out of gas. Someone was bringing some.
1:34 a.m. A person walking a bicycle on the side of Route 2 east near Walden Street was confused about where he was as he said he’d been riding since 3 p.m. Police secured the bicycle and contacted the Stow Police Department to make contact with a family member.
6:54 a.m. A resident of Highland Street reported a possibly rabid bat on his back walkway. Animal control was notified.
6:58 a.m. Officers attempted to make contact with a female who entered Care One from ORNAC after cutting across all travel lanes to enter the left turn lane. She was traveling inbound on Elm Street from Acton and was reported to be driving erratically in Acton, almost striking another vehicle.
9:04 a.m. A large camper parked on Nathan Pratt Drive had people going in and out all night. Police attempted to contact the owner. It was parked legally. No issues.
12:12 p.m. A resident on Hubbard Street found a tan long hair golden mix and put the dog in his fenced yard. Animal control was notified.
12:13 A person reported losing a silver bracelet with flag emblems while walking on Bedford Street.
12:25 p.m. Multiple cars were parked at Concord-Carlisle High School for an athletic event. They were not in a marked no parking zone or obstructing hydrants. No issues.
1:16 p.m. A black leather wallet was reported lost on May 6. It was last seen at Concord Shoe Repair on Commonwealth Avenue.
2:03 p.m. A motorcycle at Monument Square and Lincoln Road was reported to be tailgating other vehicles while driving in and out of the lines. After the report, police saw a motorcycle outbound on Lexington Road into Concord that was not driving erratically.
2:45 p.m. A lane on Route 2 east was shut down while police assisted a motorist with a bicycle that had fallen off the back.
3:39 p.m. A rectangular brown and blue wallet was reported lost in the parking lot of the Concord Visitors Center on Main Street earlier in the day.
Monday, May 8
4:27 a.m. A vehicle parked in the Rideout Field parking lot on Laws Brook Road was unoccupied and secured.
9:03 a.m. A resident on Saw Mill Road reported unemployment fraud.
10:16 a.m. Two vehicles parked in front of a fire hydrant across from Laurel Street were issued courtesy tags.
11:53 a.m. A vehicle was towed after a crash at Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street. The operator got a written warning for failure to use care.
1:30 p.m. A person from Minuteman Drive reported a mail scam involving Middlesex Bank.
1:47 p.m. A resident on Sudbury Road reported the reverse beeping from a construction vehicle had been going off for hours. The reporter was advised of specifics regarding the construction noise bylaws. No issues.
4:22 p.m. Officers were not able to locate the shirtless male operator of a vehicle reported to be driving erratically on Old Bedford Road outbound.
5:12 p.m. Someone changed a tire on a disabled motor vehicle at Sudbury Road and Old Road to Nine Acres Corner.
5:34 p.m. After a minor motor vehicle crash at the rotary and Commonwealth Avenue, the state police located one vehicle in Acton. The other could not be found.
7:56 p.m. After reporting loud leaf blowing on Ministerial Drive, the caller was advised of the town bylaw. The landscape company had packed up.
8:03 p.m. Debris removed from Elm Street.
9:14 p.m. A motorcycle with no lights or plates was reported to be circling the neighborhood and that had been going on for the past two weeks. The operator of the moped was instructed not to operate the vehicle until it has a functioning headlight.
Tuesday, May 9
5:36 a.m. Police assisted Concord Municipal Light Plant after a low wire at Upland Road and Pine Street knocked the power out.
7:27 a.m. A motor vehicle crash on Fitchburg Turnpike at Sudbury Road was cleared.
7:30 a.m. An uninsured operator with a revoked license driving an unregistered vehicle at Lexington and Bypass roads was summonsed and transported to the depot.
9:27 a.m. A disabled vehicle at Commerford Road and Elm Street was towed.
9:50 a.m. Animal Control took an injured raccoon that was still alive behind a parked red truck on Main Street. It was located at the wood line.
10:50 a.m. The safety officer will be advised of a person concerned with weekend bicyclists disregarding traffic and riding more than two abreast.
12:51 p.m. A walk-in reported fraud.
1:38 p.m. A wallet found in the area of Crosby’s Market was picked up by the owner’s husband.
2:04 p.m. A disabled Mercedes sedan on Main Street near Sudbury Road was moved out of the roadway and was waiting for a private tow.
3:15 p.m. An Acton Ford employee returned a wallet. The owner was notified.
4:08 p.m. A fire engine struck a parked Amazon delivery vehicle on Main Street at Academy Lane. Police made a report.
4:20 p.m. Police opened a Subaru on Simon Willard Lane after a lock out.
4:33 p.m. Animal control notified about an injured bird in the roadway on Harrington Avenue.
5:00 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in a crash in front of the TD Bank on Main Street. A white Mercedes with front-end damage headed outbound and was located at Chase Bank. The operator received a civil citation for failure to yield. Debris was removed from the road.
5:29 p.m. A driver reported she struck another vehicle in the parking lot of Emerson Hospital on Old Road to Nine Acre Corners in the morning. Nothing had been reported to Emerson security.
6:19 p.m. Three house keys and one quick set key on a single ring were lost on Commonwealth Avenue on Monday, May 8.
6:33 p.m. A wallet was found at All Town Mobile on Concord Turnpike. Police attempted to contact the party with no response.
8:14 p.m. Two vehicles were on the roadway on Route 2 west at Walden Street after a two-car crash. State Police came to the scene.
8:18 p.m. Restroom doors on a Main Street property were not secured. Police will check back.
8:19 p.m. A male with a heavy accent told a resident of Barretts Mill Road he left a package under the porch for her son. The son denied ordering anything.
8:54 p.m. Police located a Jeep that state police said was driving erratically on Route 2 and exited onto Elm Street in the driveway of a residence. They were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.
9:11 p.m. A cyclist reported losing a black wallet with an ID inside on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.
Wednesday, May 10
6:24 a.m. Police located a bag on the bench of the eastbound train at the Concord Depot on Thoreau Street after a resident reported leaving it there. She will call at a later time to retrieve it.
8:50 p.m. The operator of a vehicle that broke down on Main Street provided courtesy transport. She returned and got the vehicle removed from the road.
8:57 p.m. A brown bag was lost while driving in the area of Hawthorne Lane on May 9.
9:54 p.m. The manager of 7/11 on Main Street reported illegal dumping after he discovered mail belonging to a Hillside Drive resident while taking the trash out. Police will follow up.
11:03 p.m. A vehicle was towed after a motor-vehicle crash at Main Street and Baker Avenue caused significant damage to the guardrail.
3:55 p.m. A vehicle door opened onto another vehicle on Walden Street causing minor damage and resulting in a paper exchange.
3:57 p.m. A person on Central Street received a fraudulent check from a company she worked for and was asked to cash it. She did not and did not suffer any loss.
4:13 p.m. A vehicle parked between cones in the area of Stow and Everett streets that is being used for a water delivery truck. Staff believes the truck will be able to fit.
5:28 p.m. A disabled motor vehicle in the lot of the Concord Museum on Cambridge Turnpike was towed privately.
5:34 p.m. A passerby turned in a black car key fob with a red holder found on Lowell Road.
