Five doors, first made and displayed around ArtScape/Bradford Mill in West Concord last year, as part of a Go Outdoors – Neighbors art installation, were re-installed on the Wayland Rail Trail, last month. They will be up all summer.
“The Wayland Cultural Council is excited for this installation – and to have created an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work,” said Rachel Sideman-Kurtz, Chair of the Wayland Cultural Council, which initiated the project. “Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from the community.”
The installation is made possible by a generous grant from the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund. Free parking by the Wayland Public Library provides easy access to the installation which extends about a half mile up the trail.
