7:03 a.m. Could not locate a vehicle around Sudbury Street and Fitchburg Turnpike with heavy front-end damage that struck a tree in Sudbury and continued driving.
8:25 a.m. Minor crash involving a car and a motorcycle at Orchard Road and Main Street.
8:27 a.m. Concord Public Works notified about a dead raccoon in the roadway at Cambridge Turnpike and Hawthorne Lane.
9:39 a.m. A CPAP machine found near Westford and Lowell roads was turned in. The owner retrieved it the next day.
10:23 a.m. Past bank fraud on Indian Pipe Lane reported.
12:54 p.m. Transported male to West Concord Train Station from Old Road to Nine Acres Corner.
1:28 p.m. Verbal dispute between a vehicle and bicyclist on Main and Walden Streets happened after a reportedly close call.
2:24 p.m. Two-car motor-vehicle crash at Main Street. No injuries.
4:09 p.m. Police checked for a manhole cover reported missing at Old Bedford and Granite Post roads, but saw only small water gate access covers missing that were properly marked.
5:20 p.m. The Water Department replaced a displaced manhole cover at Old Bedford Road and Butternut Circle. They also turned off the water to the hydrant in front of Old Bedford Street.
6:53 p.m. Two lost cell phones were found in the book drop at the Concord Public Library on Main Street. Retrieved by owner.
Friday, July 21
12:16 a.m. A Beede Center employee had just closed up and moved along.
4:04 a.m. A person with a vehicle on Walden Street was going on a hike and was OK.
7:26 a.m. A patron of Main Street Market reported losing his license there or at the train depot on July 20.
8:14 a.m. A caller reported hitting a mailbox on Garfield Road a week and a half earlier. No damage to the mailbox.
8:56 a.m. Emerson Field Playground personnel requested extra patrols in the mornings because of loose dogs that could potentially bite a child using the playground.
9:12 a.m. A resident of Lowell Road requested extra patrols after a “Stop the Jet Expansion at Hanscom” lawn sign was taken. An additional three signs had been taken since July 4.
10:59 a.m. Police assisted a resident with a handicap on Philip Farm Road with a deceased rabbit.
11:14 a.m. Concord police responded to a four-car motor-vehicle crash on Route 2 east just after Sudbury Road until State police arrived.
12:20 p.m. AAA was enroute for a vehicle with a flat tire at Concord Turnpike and ORNAC.
3:29 p.m. A person lost his wallet at the Visitor Center between 10 a.m. and noon. Staff did not find it.
Saturday, July 22
9:03 a.m. A parked vehicle without a permit at Eaton and Dover streets was cited.
10:31 a.m. A resident of Old Bedford Road said a vehicle pulled into his driveway and the operator asked if the road was ever listed as Minot Road. Logged for information only.
10:51 a.m. A resident of Hill Street reported she believes she dropped her small brown wallet with personal belongings in it the day before on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.
12:25 p.m. Comella’s donated pizza to the police station.
2:06 p.m. A driver who was reported to have swerved over the double yellow line on Thoreau Street said she was pulling into Dunkin’ and the other driver was impatient. No issues.
7:34 p.m. Ranger 1 found a necklace in the parking lot of Hapgood Forest.
8:45 p.m. The driver of a vehicle at Main Street and Route 2 needed directions.
9:18 p.m. An unlicensed operator driving a vehicle not matching the plate description at Baker Avenue and Main Street was transported to the Best Western.
9:33 p.m. A resident of Anson Road reported hearing possible fireworks. Area checked, nothing heard.
9:39 p.m. An erratic driver reported by the Lincoln Police Department was not located on ORNAC or Route 2 east.
Sunday, July 23
2:14 a.m. A vehicle on Baker Avenue was secured and unoccupied.
2:52 a.m. Police checked the area of Monument Farm Road and did not locate a vehicle that had been parked outside a residence playing loud music.
7:14 a.m. Concord Municipal Light Plant advised of power outage on Holdenwood Road.
3:38 p.m. A burglar alarm sounded on Authors Road and a back door was unsecured. Homeowner enroute to residence.
5:45 p.m. A woman’s wallet found in the bathroom of the Visitor Center was retrieved by the owner.
9:02 p.m. A resident of Stone Root Lane reported hearing a male yelling for help. Police checked the area. Unknown cause.
Monday, July 24
1:19 a.m. A vehicle parked behind Baker Avenue Extension was unoccupied and secure.
4:06 a.m. Following a vehicle crash into a pole on Fitchburg Turnpike, the road between Plainfield and Sudbury Roads was closed. CMLP on scene. Vehicle towed. Concord Public Works advised of damage to guardrail.
9:31 a.m. Athol State Police found a wallet belonging to a resident of Elm Street. Resident notified.
10:32 a.m. A parking meter on Commonwealth Avenue was slightly damaged after it was hit.
3:59 p.m. A male possibly sleeping in an older Jeep Cherokee on Nashawtuc Road was doing work in the area.
7:31 p.m. A call from the MBTA reported a group on the train tracks near Walden Pond. Gone on arrival.
Tuesday, July 25
3:12 a.m. A person in a vehicle in the lot on Walden Street was not asleep. He was using his phone.
3:33 a.m. A tree branch was removed from the roadway on Monument Street.
3:39 a.m. The operator of a motor vehicle on Bedford Street was having some issues with the rental vehicle.
10:57 a.m. Following a complaint by a resident, police determined construction vehicles at Phillip Farm and Virginia roads were not creating a traffic hazard.
2:04 p.m. After another parking complaint, the general contractor owning the vehicles at Phillip Farm and Virginia Roads moved the vehicles to designated parking spots.
2:05 p.m. CMLP removed a tree on Harrington Avenue that was in the roadway and on wires.
2:06 p.m. An employee from Walden Street notified police of a suspicious backpack and jacket in the dumpster behind Haute Coffee. Items obtained; police will attempt to contact owner.
2:11 p.m. A car pulled to the end of a driveway on Sudbury Road was pulled aside for the operator to use the phone.
2:24 p.m. A construction vehicle, reported to have blown through a red light and then cut off another vehicle at Thoreau Street and Sudbury Road, was gone on arrival.
4:21 p.m. A vehicle parked across the sidewalk on Stow Street was moved along.
4:39 p.m. Police looked for a person found hiding in a basement bathroom who had been asked to leave a business, but did not locate the party. The property manager of the Baker Avenue business was advised of trespass procedure.
6:54 p.m. There was a fire pit in the circle at the end of Finigan Way.
7:35 p.m. The trespasser at the Baker Avenue business was found in a third-floor conference room. The male was verbally no-trespassed from the property.
8:38 p.m. A small piece of tree limb was removed from Cambridge Turnpike near the Concord Museum.
9:45 a.m. An operator of a vehicle on Route 2 East at Sudbury Road needed directions and was on his way.
Wednesday, July 26
4:50 a.m. A motorist reported a large pothole on Elm Street between CMLP and the rotary. No pothole was located.
6:15 a.m. A small dead animal was removed from the roadway at Monument and Liberty Streets. CPW notified.
7:32 a.m. A resident of Jennie Dugan Road reported a tree had fallen across the bike path behind the road. CPW notified.
8:08 a.m. Concord Police responded to a minor two-car crash on Route 2 west near Sandy Pond Road. Massachusetts State Police to handle.
9:22 a.m. CMLP removed a downed wire near The Valley and Heath Bridge Roads.
11:12 a.m. Newport Construction reported one of their trucks backed into one of the train signals near Commonwealth Avenue. MBTA advised and responding.
2:08 p.m. Unemployment fraud, Nathan Pratt Drive.
6:18 p.m. A driver reported that a black Jeep Cherokee was tailgating them on Lexington Road. The Jeep turned right onto Elm Street. The reporting driver pulled over and the Jeep passed with no further issue.
7:22 p.m. A walker in Fairhaven Hill Woods stumbled upon a box with wood chips and a water dish, concerned that someone was releasing wild animals. Police were unable to locate the box.
8:10 p.m. CPW notified to pick up a bag of apparent garbage left at the corner of Powder Mill Road and Stone Root Lane.
11:37 p.m. The bathroom door at the Visitor Center on Main Street was propped open. No one was found in the area and the door was secured.
