Two workers were injured on a construction site Tuesday morning after they were hit by a piece of equipment.
Both were treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, according to Assistant Fire Chief Walter Latta.
Firefighters arrived at the Elm Street area site at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 19, where they discovered two construction workers were injured when construction equipment struck them while they were installing granite curbing.
The Concord Police Department, Acton Fire Department and Pro-ALS provided assistance at the scene. The U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration was notified.
