Friends of classical music in Lincoln will host a concert at Bemis Hall on October 1 at 2 p.m. with the Concord Music Club performing music by Bartok, Chopin, Liszt, Schubert and others for violin, clarinet, recorder and piano.
Concord Music Club provides its members, who are musicians and residents of Concord and neighboring towns with an interest in classical music, with opportunities to perform at meetings hosted by members or at other venues. The club has been in existence since 1886.
The event is the first of six concerts this season. Anyone with an interest in classical music can join the club by showing up at a meeting. Admission is free. For further information, visit www.concordmusicclubma.org or call CMC President Thorkil Kjems at 760-715-6065.
