Harry Mason Fackert III (Mason), 84

Harry Mason Fackert III (Mason), age 84, of Concord, Massachusetts, died peacefully at home on August 27, 2023.

Mason was born in Summit, New Jersey, on January 10, 1939.  He joined the Army in 1961 and was the Army Press Liaison with John F. Kennedy’s White House.  He was also a proud Armed Services Honor Guard member and served in this capacity at JFK’s funeral.  Following his Army service, Mason went to Drake University, where he earned his degree in English.  

Mason loved publishing and became publishing manager of over twenty-four business publications until he fulfilled his dream of business independence in 1987, becoming founder and CEO of Concord Ventures, LLC.  

He is survived by his wife, Lou, of 61 years, and their children, Scott, Kyra, Matthew, Jesse, and Dana Fackert, and grandchildren Maxon, Bryan, Cora, and Elizabeth.  

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Mason for his memorial service on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Rd., Concord, Massachusetts.
