6:52 a.m. Motor vehicle crash with paper exchange on Route 2 East, eastbound before the rotary. No visible damage and no one transported to the hospital.
2:25 p.m. A past hit and run between a work truck and a lawn mower on Saw Mill Road was reported.
3:22 a.m. A male with a white beard lying in front of the Hugh Cargill Pump Station with a lot of bags around him was walking the country exploring war memorial sites. No aid needed.
4:05 p.m. A bicyclist reported to be causing a traffic hazard in Monument Square was gone on arrival.
5:07 p.m. A disabled motor vehicle at Lexington Road and Heywood Street was awaiting a tow.
5:38 p.m. A resident of Hosmer Road reported two motor vehicles traveling at slow speeds and possibly recording the residence multiple times. Police were not able to identify the vehicles with partial plate numbers and will follow up with neighbors for camera information.
5:59 p.m. Concord Municipal Light Plant was notified about a red traffic signal out at Cottage and Main Streets.
Friday, September 29
4:05 a.m. Police tracked a pursuit traveling at high speeds on Route 2 eastbound. Lowell, Acton and State Police were in pursuit after the vehicle attempted to strike a Lowell officer. The vehicle turned onto Old Road to Nine Acre Corner (ORNAC) toward the center of town and toward Lincoln and then Lexington. Lowell advised the pursuit was cancelled.
9:55 a.m. A staff member at the Fowler Library reported an incident on Wednesday in which a patron was yelling at people parking in the lot and appeared to be intoxicated. The male had a beard and was riding a bicycle. She was advised to call the police if anything similar happened.
1:13 p.m. A motorist reported their vehicle was disabled by a tire detached from a passing garbage truck on Commonwealth Avenue. The vehicle was parked and was operable.
1:30 p.m. A resident of Elsinore Street reported a black backpack with alcoholic beverages on the railroad track.
2:06 p.m. A home health aide reported a client at Newbury Court believed he was involved in a scam and that his computer was taken over. Nothing was compromised and no money was taken.
2:20 p.m. A three-party crash on Lexington Road resulted in no reported injuries and a tow.
3:05 p.m. Minor motor-vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle at Verrill Farm Stand on Wheeler Road resulted in a paper exchange only.
3:38 p.m. A resident on Main Street reported past Eversource scam activity. No information or money was taken.
4:17 p.m. A resident of Edgewood Road reported ongoing issues with flooding because the storm drain was not properly draining and had reported it to Concord Public Works. The resident requested cones to divert traffic so his vehicle and mailbox would not get splashed by water when vehicles drove through it. He also requested extra traffic enforcement because of speeding vehicles.
7:18 p.m. A driver was summonsed for driving with a suspended license and lights violation following a motor vehicle stop at Main Street and Keyes Road. The vehicle was secured to be picked up later and the driver was picked up by a licensed driver.
8:58 p.m. A resident of Estabrook Road asked to speak with an officer about an incident that happened around noon.
Saturday, September 30
12:26 a.m. A person on Laws Brook Road was out for a walk and was advised of the park hours. No issues.
10:44 a.m. The Water Department was advised about a complaint of discolored water on Wedgewood Common.
2:01 p.m. Three cruisers responded to the Residence Inn on Baker Avenue after a call from front desk staff requesting assistance with a female causing a disturbance and refusing to leave.
2:56 p.m. A vehicle disabled on Route 2 westbound just before the rotary was towed.
9:20 p.m. A resident of Hayward Mill Circle believed someone was walking around her property and shining a flashlight in her bedroom window. The lights were motion activated and most likely triggered by an animal.
Sunday, October 1
10:40 a.m. Bicycles in the middle of Lowell Road approaching Monument Square and reported to not be moving over for vehicles were gone on arrival.
11:30 a.m. Following a motor vehicle stop at Concord Turnpike and Baker Avenue Extension, the registered owner was summonsed for driving with a revoked license and no insurance. The parties were picked up by an Uber and the vehicle was towed.
12:52 p.m. A resident of Commonwealth Avenue reported a vehicle that had been making noise for the past ten minutes. When police arrived, all was quiet.
2:24 p.m. A dark-colored SUV involved in a motor-vehicle crash with minor damage and no injuries left the area.
3:32 p.m. An operator of a motor vehicle was cited for opening a vehicle door into traffic on Thoreau Street. A bicyclist hit it and received lacerations to the arms and a blow to the head.
3:33 p.m. One vehicle involved in a hit and run on Wheeler Road was waiting for a tow. The driver of the other vehicle left and the operator called police to report she was in an accident near Verrill Farm.
4:43 p.m. A caller from Main Street reported a male party pulled into her driveway and was actively using her porta-potty. Verbal altercation only.
5:16 p.m. A walk-in at the station reported her license plate was stolen.
Monday, October 10
12:10 a.m. A motor vehicle on Everett Street was pulled aside with hazards on to check directions.
10:32 a.m. A person reported debit card fraud while at Middlesex Savings Bank on Main Street.
1:06 p.m. A contractor on Wood Street reported a male had entered the property earlier to ask if he could metal detect in the backyard. The contractor refused and asked him to leave, which he did, but he continued to look around the property as he did so.
4:34 p.m. The Fire Department assisted Massachusetts State Police with a two-car motor-vehicle crash at Route 2 West and Elm Street with an infant involved. There were three children. All refused transport to the hospital. The vehicles were towed and the family members transported to the barracks.
6:17 p.m. A vehicle was towed following a two-car motor-vehicle crash on Main Street.
Tuesday, October 3
7:27 a.m. Following a motor vehicle stop, the operator was summonsed for not having a license and speeding. The vehicle was picked up by a licensed driver.
1:29 p.m. A bus hit the meter in front Sorrento’s on Thoreau Street. The top came off.
2:45 p.m. A walk-in at the station reporting suspicious online activity was advised to block messages from the sender.
4:29 p.m. Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Emerson Hospital.
4:36 p.m. Someone reportedly nodding off in his vehicle at Concord Mobil on Cambridge Turnpike was gone on arrival and could not be found.
5:08 p.m. A vehicle was towed following a three-car crash on Main Street.
Wednesday, October 4
11:34 a.m. A motor home parked in the lot of the Concord Visitor Center on Main Street was ticketed after the operator would not move it.
4:37 p.m. Multiple 911 calls reported a two-vehicle crash at Main Street and Sudbury Road. No reported injuries.
6:17 p.m. A motor-vehicle crash on Walden Street near the high school resulted in a paper exchange only.
8:20 p.m. A passerby on Cambridge Turnpike reported a white female with curly hair was walking down the middle of the road screaming at the operator of a midsize SUV that pulled up to her. The area was checked with negative findings.
