Krist G. Andersen, age 76, of Georges Mills, New Hampshire, formerly of Concord, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Helen Couture-Andersen.
Born in Concord, Massachusetts, on April 29, 1947, the son of the late Krist and Marjorie (Schneider) Andersen. Raised and educated in Concord, Krist graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School. He later attended the Mass Radio School of Electronics.
Krist worked for many years as an electronic technician for several local companies, such as Polaroid and Raytheon, retiring from Sturm Ruger Corporation in June 2019. Krist was a talented and respected musician who enjoyed playing guitar and singing Elvis-style songs. He loved being a part of his rock and roll bands: The Flashbacks, Four Wheel Drive, and Rt 66. He was also an avid automotive enthusiast, having owned many muscle cars.
Along with his wife Helen, he is survived by his eight children, 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
His family and friends will gather to honor and remember Krist for a period of visitation on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Grace Chapel, 59 Worthen Street, Lexington, Massachusetts. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Knoll at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.
