For more than a decade, Concord Scout Troop 132 has partnered with members of the Youth Ministries of Holy Family Parish (Concord) and St. Irene’s Parish (Carlisle) to collect turkeys and cash donations for those in need at Thanksgiving. The Annual Turkey Truck has become a Concord/Carlisle tradition!
On Sunday, November 18, under the leadership of Scoutmaster Bill Dugan, the 2023 Annual Turkey Truck collected and delivered over 200 turkeys for donation to Crossroads Family Center in Boston. Financial support will be donated to other local food programs.
Scout Troop 132, and the parish Youth Ministries thank all the volunteers, the wonderful community that donated turkeys and cash, and local businesses including Roche Brothers, Market Basket and Crosby’s. Many families benefited and had a Thanksgiving turkey because of the community’s generosity.
