The display of Israeli flags by the Schwartz family is both inspiring and uplifting. Each flag stands as a beacon of light combatting the darkness perpetrated by Hamas’ assault on our collective humanity. And each flag is a poignant memorial to the Israelis who fell victim to Hamas’ barbaric savagery.
We may all have our respective views of how a durable peace between the Israelis and Palestinians might someday, hopefully, be achieved. But for now, there should be no equivocation in denouncing Hamas’ evil.
In Israel, there is a saying, “Be strong and of good courage.” The Schwartz family embodies that ideal.
