Who’s calling? The Scholarship Fund of Concord and Carlisle

March 8, 2024

Students will make calls on March 10 and 11 to raise money for The Scholarship Fund of Concord and Carlisle.

The Concord-Carlisle High School volunteers will make approximately 3,500 calls from the CCHS cafeteria over the weekend. The funds will help underwrite need-based college scholarships for students who live in the two towns or who have graduated from their secondary schools.

Since 1966, the Scholarship Fund has supported more than 1,400 students from the Concord and Carlisle communities, awarding over $3 million.

Phonathon Chair Priscilla Guiney, a CCHS teacher, says the drive’s success “hinges on these kids and the Concord and Carlisle residents who answer their calls.

“Our students work so hard to help people to understand the mission of The Scholarship Fund, which is focused solely on supporting students with unmet need to achieve their post-secondary school goals,” she says. “Every year, our kids rise to the occasion, and so do the townspeople of Concord and Carlisle.”
