Library book sale to offer ‘something for everyone’

June 8, 2024

Might want to start making room on your shelves: The giant Book Sale on the lawn of the Concord Free Public Library is here.

The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 129 Main Street.

Featuring thousands of nearly new and gently used books and media, the annual sale has something for everyone, from history buffs and lovers of beach reads to the ever-popular children’s tables.

“The June sale is one of the largest community events in Concord. I cannot wait to see the line start to form and all the people rush in once we open on Saturday morning,” said Hayley Maybury-Gross, event chair.

Proceeds support the work of the Friends of the Library, a volunteer group that provides adult and children’s programming, museum passes, eBooks, large print and AV materials, and more.

Cash is preferred, but credit/debit cards will be accepted. The rain date is Sunday, June 9.
