The Robbins House, Ellen Garrison’s childhood home, is beginning to archive the material related to the campaign to name the town’s middle school after Garrison.
The museum is soliciting material from all viewpoints, both those for and against the proposal, and would welcome emails sent to the School Committee, Select Board and other town entities, speeches prepared and read at Town Meeting, as well as newspaper articles, mailers, signage, and other ephemera related to the campaign. The hope of the museum is to one day be able to create a retrospective exhibit on the process.
Anyone interested can send email material to info@robbinshouse.org. Material may also be mailed to The Robbins House, P.O. Box 506, Concord, MA, 01742 or dropped off to the museum during open hours.
Thank you for your help in archiving the continuing history of the Robbins and Garrison families in Concord.
