Photographer Edward Feather was in West Concord last Friday morning when he saw a large crowd of Celtics fans gathering at the MBTA station.
“It was a pretty warm day already and the signs were flashing saying that the heavy traffic of fans was causing delays of up to 30 minutes in both directions. The fans didn’t seem to be bothered, as there was plenty of excitement and lots of smiles as they watched for the train,” Feather wrote.
“Concord residents Rex Riessen, Auggie Riessen, Jonah O’Donnell-Weyant, and Ryan Duffy were all thrilled to pose for a photo and show their excitement for the day and their dedication as Celtics fans.
“There were definite cheers as the train arrived to take them to North Station in Boston and the fun of the day that would surely follow.”
