I believe this is an excellent time for the town to add “sharrows” to Sudbury Road (it is currently being resurfaced) at the intersection of Route 2 on both sides as I have seen so many close calls — an accident is going to happen.
I spend a lot of time in Manchester-by-the-Sea and learned about these and how effective they are for cyclists and automobiles. There’s an excellent video on YouTube titled, “‘’Sharrows Shared-Lane Markings.”
