On Sunday, Concord250 set out to “alert, inform, and engage with the greater community regarding the upcoming celebration of Concord’s central role in the American Revolution.”

Photographer Ken McGagh was on scene for The Concord Bridge, capturing the festivities at the Concord Museum and a special lantern parade as the town counts down the days to the official anniversary of the start of the war on April 19, 2025.

Next spring’s 250th celebrations are forecast to attract as many as a quarter million people to town. The weekend’s kickoff kept things a bit more intimate and local, but still lively.

Here’s a glimpse into the evening through McGagh’s lens.
