Wednesday, October 23
8:10 a.m. A National Aviation Academy student reported another student spit in his face. Police investigated and issued a court summons to the involved student.
3:44 p.m. A 911 caller reported a three-car pileup on Bedford Street at Garrison Road. Police ordered a tow for one of the damaged cars and cited the driver for following too closely.
4:21 p.m. A Hayward Mill Road caller reported two men showed up on bicycles and were walking around looking through the windows of cars and a vacant residence. The caller told police the residence was “uninhabitable” and that no one should be on the property. Police responded and spoke with the men, who went on their way.
6 p.m. A resident at the Elm Street shelter reported a woman assaulted her after confiscating alcohol from her room. The caller told police the woman grabbed her and then disallowed the caller from leaving the room “for a period of time.” Officers issued a court summons for simple assault and battery.
Thursday, October 24
8:13 a.m. A 911 caller reported a man sleeping inside the Middlesex Savings Bank branch on Main Street. When an officer arrived, the man was outside the bank.
4:11 p.m. A woman said an emergency fire vehicle struck the side of her car and cracked the mirror while she was pulled over at Main Street and Cottage Lane. Police told the woman to bring her car to the station for inspection.
4:44 p.m. A woman reported being verbally accosted while walking her dog in the cemetery on Bedford Street. The woman said the incident was not physical, and no threats were made, but she wanted it documented.
5:10 p.m. The MBTA reported two people on the Boston-bound tracks near Concord Station heading. Police spoke to two people in the area, but they did not match the description given by the conductors.
9:11 p.m. A Monument Street caller reported a dog had been barking for several hours. Police asked the animal control officer to contact the owner.
Friday, October 25
7:56 a.m. A Lexington Road caller reported hearing periodic gunshots for the previous 45 minutes. Police responded but heard nothing and saw no one along Lexington and Old Bedford Roads or Kenney Farm.
7:56 An Annursnac Hill Road resident reported a man hunting in the area. Police responded and spoke to a man who told officers he was tracking a deer that he had shot. Officers followed up with Environmental State Police.
4:10 p.m. A woman reported another vehicle struck her car while parked in a Church Street lot. Someone who witnessed the collision left a note with the vehicle description and a partial plate number. Police investigated.
9:52 p.m. A Nathan Pratt Drive resident reported their upstairs neighbors had been playing “very loud” music for about two hours. The upstairs tenant turned the music off before police arrived.
11:31 p.m. A Minuteman Drive caller reported hearing a single loud bang, described as “sounding like a gunshot,” coming from the direction of Monsen Road by Great Meadows. Officers spoke to the woman and checked the area but found it “all quiet.”
Saturday, October 26
11:30 a.m. A Lowell Road resident reported a dead deer in the backyard. Police notified the animal control officer.
12:19 p.m. A Main Street resident reported finding a dog on her property. Police notified the animal control officer.
5:45 p.m. A Silver Hill Road resident reported her neighbor’s dog ran out of its yard and tried attacking her dog while on a walk. No dogs or people were injured. Police notified the animal control officer.
7:52 p.m. A 911 caller on Main Street reported a past hit-and-run. Police responded.
Sunday, October 27
11:09 a.m. An Elm Street resident reported an “older” woman trespassing on the property and taking pictures of the homeowner’s chickens. The caller said the woman was walking toward the Elm Place condo complex.
12:35 p.m. A motorist reported that a man on a motorbike who appeared to be in his 70s was yelling into other people’s cars near Thoreau and Main Streets. Police were unable to find the man.
9:17 p.m. Police spoke with the driver of a disabled car on Route 2 westbound near Sudbury Road. The motorist told police it had a flat tire and that he was changing it on the roadside.
9:40 p.m. Police responded to Route 2 westbound near Main Street for a report of a disabled car. The driver said they struck an “object” on the highway and were trying to move it to the side of the road. The motorist got the vehicle to a Main Street parking lot and called for a tow.
10:01 p.m. Police responded to Route 2 westbound near Fairhaven Road for a report of a disabled car that had struck “debris” in the rotary. Police helped move the car out of the road. An officer then found a “large metal object” in one of the travel lanes on Route 2. State Police responded to help check the road for more debris, but found none.
Monday, October 28
5:55 p.m. A caller reported someone putting candles around the Veterans Monument in Monument Square. Police determined the candles were part of a vigil.
Tuesday, October 29
12:30 a.m. Two cruisers were dispatched to help a resident find their lost dog. An officer eventually found the dog on Buttricks Hill Road and contacted the owner to reunite them.
10:34 a.m. A staff member from the Concord Visitor Center on Main Street reported a man had spent the night in the women’s restroom and was still there. Police responded.
10:38 a.m. A Concord Gas employee reported a motorist who was driving erratically on Elm Street and caused property damage at the business’s car wash was refusing to provide insurance information. Police responded and found damaged equipment but no damage to the building. An officer issued a court summons to the motorist for driving without a license.
7:13 p.m. A 911 caller reported a car hit a deer on Lowell Road and did not stop. The deer appeared to be injured and was lying near the side of the roadway. Police found the deer dead on the side of the road near the sidewalk and requested that Concord Public Works remove the carcass.
8:21 p.m. A Kenney Lane resident reported that when he arrived home that evening, he noticed a quarter of a cord of wood missing from his property. Police responded.
11:41 p.m. A 911 caller from Old Road to Nine Acre Corner reported a past hit-and-run in the hospital parking garage.
