Wednesday, October 30
10:56 a.m. The caretaker for a property on Estabrook Road reported two illegally parked cars near the trailhead. Officers issued two citations.
12:06 p.m. A Peter Spring Road resident reported workers across the street had plugged something in to charge at his house. Police responded and advised the workers not to do so.
1:39 p.m. A Willow Street resident requested an officer check his residence for a delivery driver or package left on the front porch. The homeowner told police he was expecting a courier delivery from Singapore but then received messages asking for more money before the driver would deliver the item. Police found no package or delivery driver on the premises and determined the calls were likely a scam.
Thursday, October 31
8:42 a.m. A Nashoba Road resident asked to speak with an officer regarding a verbal interaction with the construction worker next door the day before.
10:49 a.m. A Belknap Street resident was taken to Concord District Court on a warrant requiring involuntary commitment of people with substance use disorders or alcohol use disorders. The individual declined medical treatment.
11:21 a.m. Building management for an apartment complex on Nathan Pratt Drive reported an ongoing issue with people going through the dumpsters on the property.
3:10 p.m. A Lowell Road caller asked for police assistance regarding someone sleeping inside a Lowell Road building without permission.
Friday, November 1
7:46 a.m. A motorist reported they had hit a deer while driving on Monument Street. The car sustained slight damage, and the deer had since run off. As police were responding, the driver called back and told officers he was actually in Carlisle. Police in that town handled the incident.
9:20 a.m. A Chestnut Street resident reported his cat missing. Police notified the animal control officer.
9:36 a.m.The National Park Service reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area of Lexington Road and Hawthorne Lane and said they were unsure if there were hunters in the field. Police checked the area but saw and heard nothing suspicious. The only car in a nearby parking lot was a government vehicle.
10:07 a.m. A Hugh Cargill Road resident reported a “speeding” Amazon driver, who police discovered had already contacted Amazon and filed a complaint with his employer about the resident.
11:40 a.m. Police responded to Old Marlboro Road for a single-car crash. Authorities took the driver to Emerson Hospital and ordered a tow. Officers issued a written warning to the driver for failingto stop.
Saturday, November 2
2:31 a.m. A Laws Brook Road caller reported seeing a group of people “yelling and making loud noises” near Rideout Field. The group was gone when officers arrived.
7:46 a.m. A motorist called 911 to report a collision with a deer on Route 2 eastbound before exit 125. The driver was complaining of leg and eye pain. EMTs took one person to a nearby hospital for treatment. The officer ordered the car towed.
11:08 a.m. A Peter Spring Road resident reported they found a Portuguese water dog. Officers notified the animal control officer.
11:38 a.m. A Walden Street business owner reported a statue in front of the store had been taken overnight. Police responded.
12:18 p.m. A motorist reported a man wearing red shorts and a baseball hat running around the rotary twice and then down Commonwealth Avenue. Police responded and spoke to the man, who officers said seemed fine and said he was “going for a run.”
5:52 p.m. A caller reported an “older male party and an older female” were “aggravating” customers at the Middlesex ATM on Main Street in West Concord. Officers found the duo on the public sidewalk outside 7-Eleven and causing no issues.
6:44 p.m. A caller reported being insulted by another woman inside a Walden Street restaurant. Police responded but found no disturbance, and management was unaware of any issues. Both women had since moved along.
6:48 p.m. Police issued an alert to all departments in the greater Boston area after an Uber passenger called to report the driver arrived for pickup with his lights off “and was unable to stay in lane or maintain proper speed” until dropping the passenger off at Crosby’s Marketplace on Sudbury Road.
10:02 p.m. A Riverdale Road caller reported a group of people were ringing doorbells in the area and heading toward Sudbury Road. The group was gone when police arrived.
11:26 p.m. An Indian Pipe Lane resident reported her two golden retrievers ran off about 45 minutes prior. Officers notified the animal control officer.
Sunday, November 3
1:04 a.m. Police stopped a car on Route 2 near exit 125 and learned the insurance on the vehicle was revoked. Police ordered a tow for the car and cited the driver.
3:03 p.m. A 911 caller from a driver on Walden Street reported a young dog was running in and out of the roadway. Police learned the owners were in the community garden and helped them corral the dog.
6:57 p.m. A motorist driving on Route 2 reported a vacuum cleaner was obstructing the roadway near the Concord Museum. Police responded but found no objects in the roadway.
Monday, November 4
7:52 a.m. An Annursnac Road caller reported a verbal altercation. Responding officers found no issues.
8:08 a.m. A 911 call for a well-being check on a motorist “slumped over the steering wheel of his running motor vehicle” on Elm Street led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Maynard man. Following an investigation, the driver was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and impeding traffic.
Tuesday, November 5
3:11 p.m. Multiple callers reported a two-car collision on Route 2 near Baker Avenue. State police handled the incident.
4:24 p.m. A woman reported that her son was attacked by a dog that morning twice while walking in Emerson Field. Police spoke with the other person involved.
