Wednesday, November 27

3:29 p.m. A passerby reported a man driving a motorcycle on Main Street was yelling and kicking passing vehicles. Officers were unable to find the motorist.

Thursday, November 28

7:43 p.m. A Jennie Dugan Road resident reported a possibly injured goose on his deck next to the house. Officers notified the animal control officer.

Friday, November 29

9:14 a.m. Billerica police called to request assistance with locating a white Chevy Trailblazer registered to a Concord resident which was involved in a hit-and-run that morning. Concord officers found the car in a driveway with minor front-end damage to the bumper and fender. Police instructed the owners to contact Billerica police.

Saturday, November 30

1:26 a.m. A 39-year-old Chelmsford woman is facing multiple drunken-driving charges after police stopped her for swerving on Route 2 near Main Street. Officers charged the driver with operating under the influence, negligent driving, unlicensed driving, refusing to identify herself, resisting arrest, and threatening to commit a crime. A passenger riding in the car was also arrested after police initially thought the passenger had been driving. Following an investigation, the 44-year-old Chelmsford woman was charged with disorderly conduct, possessing an open alcohol container, and resisting arrest. A vandalism charge was added after the woman was taken into custody when she allegedly “attempted to flood the cell by stuffing toilet paper and a blanket into the toilet.” One woman was released on cash bail, and the other was held. Police ordered the vehicle towed.

7:21 a.m. Concord Public Works reported graffiti on the sidewalk along Sudbury Road and Main Street. Crews removed the paint.

11:01 a.m. A Harrington Avenue resident reported she believed she fell victim to a Facebook Marketplace scam. The woman said she paid for an item, but the seller demanded more money to travel and meet with her. The woman asked to speak with an officer since she “no longer felt comfortable” striking a deal.

9:14 p.m. A driver is facing multiple drunken-driving charges after getting involved in a crash at Thoreau and Main Streets. Officers charged Monica Schauweker, 45, of Sudbury, with operating under the influence (second offense), driving with a suspended license, possessing an open alcohol container, and failing to stop.


Sunday, December 1

11:19 a.m. An Authors Road resident reported her spaniel ran through the invisible pet fence about 15 minutes earlier and wasn’t wearing any tags. Officers notified the animal control officer, who learned the dog was spotted on Walden Street.

12:11 p.m. A Route 2 resident reported someone had stolen a package from her front porch overnight. Police asked neighbors for surveillance camera footage.

1:35 p.m.: A 911 caller reported a two-car crash at Main Street and Baker Avenue. Everyone involved — including a young child — was able to exit the vehicles without injury. Officers cited one driver for running a red light and ordered both cars towed.

5:53 p.m. A caller reported a “minor” two-car crash on Lowell and Barnes Hill Roads. No one was injured. Police cited one driver for failure to yield at an intersection and ordered both cars towed.

8:44 p.m. Police stopped a car on Old Marlboro Road for having an expired registration tag and learned the driver was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of Clinton District Court. Officers arrested the woman on the warrant and also charged her with driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Monday, December 2

8:40 a.m. A Spencer Brook Road resident asked to speak with the animal control officer about bat removal services.

11:15 a.m. A Hillside Avenue resident asked to speak with the animal control officer after her dog and another dog attacked each other.

11:32 a.m. An Annursnac Hill Road resident reported a town department employee had blown leaves into their yard. Officers notified Concord Public Works, who dispatched the Highway Department crew to remove the leaves.

6:08 p.m. A caller notifying police about a wrong-way driver at Elm Street and Nimrod Road reported the “elderly” woman behind the wheel appeared “disoriented” and was driving with no headlights. Police escorted the woman back to her home.

Tuesday, December 3

9:02 a.m.  A Lowell Road resident reported their yellow Lab missing. Officers notified the animal control officer.
