Gregory Alexander Myers, of Fitchburg, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2023. He was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on August 18, 1950, to David and Jeanne Myers.
Greg was a 1968 graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and briefly attended Northeastern University in Boston.
Greg was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Myers Chandler of St. Pete Beach Florida and Concord, and stepsiblings Barbara Bernard of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Daniel Farmer of St. Petersburg, Florida, John Farmer of Nashua, New Hampshire and Therese Penney of Westford, Massachusetts.
Greg was an avid reader and always had new books to read. He also subscribed to several magazines. He enjoyed watching the New England sports teams on TV, especially the Boston Bruins. He was a collector of coins, stamps and baseball cards.
In his later years, when declining health necessitated a caregiver, an angel named Kevin Gosselin came into Greg’s life. Kevin is a gem and I couldn’t have managed my brother’s care without him.
Greg, you will be missed by many people and never forgotten by all. Rest in peace.
