A pickup truck went partially into the Sudbury River after a Tuesday morning crash, Police Chief Thomas Mulcahy and Fire Chief Thomas Judge reported.
The truck, which was headed east on Route 2 near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, smashed into a guardrail at about 10 a.m.
The two occupants of the pickup managed to get out before help arrived and no injuries were reported, but one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
A rotator tow truck was to be used to pull the pickup from the river after the accident, which was under investigation by Concord Police and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
