The Lexington Minutemen will visit Memorial Field on Thanksgiving morning (10am start) in the 3rd meeting since the teams renewed their Thanksgiving rivalry in 2021.
This will be the 102nd meeting of the two long time rivals with CC holding a 51-42-7 all-time record vs. Lexington and a 27-18-4 record on Thanksgiving matchups. The Patriots enter the game with a 3 game winning streak against Lexington including a 35-13 win last Thanksgiving at Lexington.
The Minutemen have had a rough season and enter the game with a 1-9 record (1-4 in the Middlesex League) and come to Concord with a 6 game losing streak after dropping a 40-14 decision to Newton South in an MIAA “non-playoff” game.

In the first year after the teams stopped their annual Thanksgiving day games (after CC moved from the Middlesex League to the Dual County League), the Minutemen defense came to play and held the Patriots to just 6 points in the win.

Concord High School cruised to their 29th straight win on Thanksgiving Day with a 28-0 shutout of Lexington in front of more than 5,000 spectators at Emerson Field in Concord. After the game, the Concord players carried their legendary coach, Bernie Megan, from the field. The win made the Patriots the co-champions of the Class C title (with Milton).
